Our Staff / To Tatou Kaimahi

Our classroom Kaiako/Teachers and ākonga/students are supported by a SLA (Structured Literacy Approach) Literacy Support Teacher, Learning Support Coordinators, and Part-time teachers. We have eight Kaimahi / Teacher Aides who provide learning support for our ākonga/students and teachers. 

At Taitā Central School our experienced Kaiako/Teachers and Kaimahi/Teacher Aides engage in Professional Learning and Development ensuring we provide high-quality teaching and learning programmes. We embed our school POWER values into everything we do.  Our strong Taitā Central School culture binds us together as we build strong relationships and work in partnership with families, whānau and aiga as well as local people and organisations to provide purposeful, real world, authentic learning experiences and support our ākonga/students to feel a sense of belonging, to feel connected, and to thrive.
