At Taita Central School we make the most of the opportunities our community is offered and use the Walter Nash Stadium for Physical Activity and Sports, have regular tournaments with our local schools, use Kiwisports providers for programme such as football, Move M Prove – gymnastics, Ready Set Go, Swimming, Cricket, Rippa Rugby, Touch Rugby, Basketball and Floorball. We have also been lucky and had the Phoenix Footballers at School, Sarah Gregarious (White Fern) working with us and Lions members visit. Lucy Knowles from the Hutt City Council has worked with our netball team. For Saturday sports, most children join the local clubs situated at Fraser Park. | |||
